1. What you type into a calculator
Dates, wages and hours are processed in your browser to display a result and are not sent to our servers. We keep no database of those inputs.
If you choose "save to report", the result and an input snapshot are stored in your browser’s localStorage so that the report page can display and print them. That data stays on your device and is removed by clearing browser data or by using the clear button on the report page.
2. Consultation enquiries
Where no online form service is configured, the form opens a pre-filled email in your own mail client. Where an online form service is configured, the information is sent to that service or our endpoint and is used only for screening, reply and any necessary conflict check.
Please do not send ID numbers, full payroll records, bank details or other unnecessary sensitive material.
3. Cookies and advertising
The site may display third-party advertising such as Google AdSense. Ad providers may use cookies or similar technologies to serve advertising based on your visits to this and other websites and to measure performance.
You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings and manage personalised advertising through the provider’s settings page. Blocking cookies does not affect the calculators.
4. Access logs
Our hosting provider may keep access logs such as IP address, request time, page requested and browser type for security and operations. These logs are used for troubleshooting and abuse prevention, not to identify individuals.
5. Your choices and contact
You can clear locally stored data at any time through your browser. If you have questions about privacy, contact us at the address listed in the footer or on the consultation page. If this policy changes materially we will update this page and its date.
